Who Is Responsible

Noa is operated by Incredible AS (organization number 921 197 799, registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises, Platous gate 9B, 0190 Oslo, Norway), the controller for the personal data described here. Reach us at hello@meetnoa.app.

The App

With your permission, Noa reads Apple Health data on your device — heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, workouts, and related metrics — and uses it to score your stress through the day. All of this happens on the device itself:

• Health data is read from Apple Health and processed locally. It is never uploaded and never leaves your device. Access is read-only — Noa never writes to Apple Health — and you can withdraw it at any time in the Health app under Sharing.
• There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that could hold your data.
• Two things do leave the app, and neither can carry a health measurement. It counts anonymous usage — which screens are opened and how often — so we can tell which parts of the app are actually used, and it reports crashes so they can be fixed. Both are limited at the point of sending to a fixed list of permitted fields, which contains no reading from Apple Health, no identifier that names you, and no free text. There is no account to attach either to. The app's Apple privacy manifests declare exactly these two collections and no tracking.
• This counting has no in-app switch in the current version. If you would rather we did not count your use of the app, write to hello@meetnoa.app and we will stop it for you.
• The Apple Watch app and the widgets show the same scores. That data moves directly between your own devices — iPhone to Watch over Apple's device connection, and to widgets through shared on-device storage — never through a server.
• The app has an optional tip jar. A tip is a purchase processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account, and we receive no payment or identity details. A tip unlocks the full set of avatar characters permanently; nothing else about the app changes, and no feature that reads your health data is behind it.
• The app may occasionally show Apple's standard rating sheet. That sheet belongs to Apple: rating happens through your App Store account under Apple's own privacy policy, and we only see the anonymous result.
• Deleting the app deletes everything it computed. Your Apple Health data stays in Apple Health, under Apple's protections and your control.

This Website

The website is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel sees the technical data of each request — such as your IP address — for long enough to serve the page and keep the service secure. The site uses Vercel Analytics, which counts page visits in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you, and it sets no cookies of its own. If you email us, we receive what you send and use it only to answer you.

Your Rights

Because the app keeps your data on your device, exercising your rights mostly means using your device: you can revoke Health access in iOS Settings at any time, and deleting the app removes its data. For anything about email you have sent us, or any other question, contact hello@meetnoa.app. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Changes

If Noa ever changes how it handles data — for example, if a future version adds any networked feature — this policy will be updated first, and the date above will change.
